Bandaids, Coke, QTips, Kleenex, and Ajax

 I’m sure you’ve noticed these…

  • Bandaid - Adhesive Bandage
  • Coke - Soda (at least here in the crazy south)
  • QTip - Cotton Swab
  • Kleenex - Tissue

The world doesn’t need another one:

  • Ajax - Microsoft ASP.NET AJAX

For the 100th time… AJAX does not mean Microsoft ASP.NET AJAX!

Need I say more?

ONLY crazy .NET devs that are CLUELESS about actual web development - oh and MS Evangelists - talk as if AJAX means MS ASP.NET AJAX.

Good .NET AJAX is MonoRail + ExtJS :)

Well, some conversations I've had recently...

Plus I noticed the latest dnrtv episode where Dino Esposito talks about Ajax Architecture. Surely he doesn't mean the cross browser, cross platform technique using open tools ;)
